The thing that I am really noticing here is that both in this scene and in the page header, the villain is resorting to grappling rather than using his lightsaber-tendril machine.
@ Edd: I feel that the EOL is wrong about narrow walkways over pools of magma. As long as you are in control of when it is or is not covered, it makes a nice addition to your lair (or dwarf fortress, as the case may be) entrance. You just coat the walkway in deadly traps, and whether your enemies dodge becomes a win/win situation.
@EveryZig There’s a reason for everything. I won’t explain the scene, that would be telling. I’m glad you’re being observant and that you spotted that little oddity. As Alton Brown, host of my favorite cooking show says, “your patience will be rewarded.”
But I will explain the page header — I wanted a fancy banner instead of the ugly one that came with ComicPress and made something more appropriate to the comic. It may or many not be canonical. Gee…I guess you’ll just have to be patient on that one, too! *evil grin*
Assuming this is the lair of Locke … has he never read the Evil Overlord List? Specifically, #87 would apply here …

Well…if it were toxic chemicals…actually, #76 might be an issue. I guess you’ll have to keep reading to see.
