This one required no words at all. Just a girl and her toaster, unleashed in a bakery full of unsuspecting loaves of bread. If she’s not out in a week, we’ll send in a search party.
Work is progressing on the next arc. I’ve had some bad pain days lately, please be patient.
Just a reminder, Volume 1 is now available at Indy Planet! The link is below on the right, underneath the VOTE BUTTONS (hint, hint).
have you considered the using the monitor type glasses couples with speach recognition?
Yes, I have. Not so much the monitor glasses — I have a decent monitor arm over the recliner. But speech recognition isn’t the panacea it sounds like. The best speech recognition software is Dragon Naturally Speaking, and I have the latest version. It is picky about the entry field it will work in directly. If it isn’t a “standard entry field”, whatever that is, you have to use the “dictation box”, which reduces the simplicity and increases the number of key-clicks you have to make. After a certain bit of fiddling, you might as well be using a keyboard anyway. Also, it isn’t incredibly accurate, and having to go back and correct half of your sentences because it can’t hear you properly is a pain in the ass.
